Paw print size: Measures the contact surface area of the paw.
Paw luminescence: The total intensity of the pixels from the paw’s contact.
Paw luminance: The average pixel intensity (pressure) from paw contact, calculated by dividing the total pixel intensity by the paw print size.
Legacy paw luminance: Included for continuity, this older method uses a fixed-size box around the paw, whereas the new paw luminance relies on the actual paw print size.
Overall paw measures: The total sum of paw print size, paw luminescence, and paw luminance for all four paws combined.
Relative paw measures: The paw print size, paw luminescence, and paw luminance for each paw, expressed as a fraction of the overall paw measures.
Hind paw Toes-spread: Distance between the first and fifth digits of the hind paw.
Hind paw Paw-length: Distance between the ankle to the tip of the third digit.
Hind paw Paw-angle: Angle between the body midline (tailbase to hip) and the hind paw (ankle to paw center).
Automated Animal Detection: The system now detects when an animal enters a chamber and adjusts the analysis start time accordingly.
New Bar Plot Visualization: Raw data is now shown as shaded dots, with error bars representing the standard error of the mean (SEM).
